Rather than fighting for every woman’s right to feel beautiful, I would like to see the return of a kind of feminism that tells women and girls everywhere that maybe it’s all right not to be pretty and perfectly well behaved. That maybe women who are plain, or large, or old, or differently abled, or who simply don’t give a damn what they look like because they’re too busy saving the world or rearranging their sock drawer, have as much right to take up space as anyone else.
I think if we want to take care of the next generation of girls we should reassure them that power, strength and character are more important than beauty and always will be, and that even if they aren’t thin and pretty, they are still worthy of respect. That feeling is the birthright of men everywhere. It’s about time we claimed it for ourselves.
I don’t want to be told I’m pretty as I am - I want to live in a world where that’s irrelevant (via brute-reason)
Fucking this so fucking hard.

You can choose what kind of tree you want to become
Idk I just find this beautiful
just imagine cemeteries looking like this
a forest of living, changing, beautiful trees. I think a tombstone holds much more finality in death than a tree. It’s like you are living on symbolically through something greater than yourself.
this is a serious post about how much I want this. I’ll make sure my family knows.

i hate when you voluntarily tell your parents some information about your life because you think you can trust them and then they bitch at you for it like congrats you have guaranteed that i will never tell you anything ever again

They’ll go and say something like “I treat all roleplayers equally!” but when they roleplay with an OC it’s obvious they don’t put much effort into their roleplays and they drop them around one or two replies later. But with other characters, they’re suddenly Shakespere and the roleplays last for a really long time. It isn’t fair that OCs are looked down on, simply because they aren’t canon. They’re the same as any other character, and should be treated as such.
Mod note: It’s okay if you don’t want to RP with OCs! This does not mean it’s okay to be rude and/or attack them. Be a big kid about it.
